In addition, our affiliates, other businesses, suppliers, vendors, licensors and agents may also use the collected information to improve the services they provide. For more information about advertisements on the Site and in the Service, see the “Third Party Advertising” section below.

We may publish a profile page that includes your username, content you upload to the site, character names, character record, and/or other performance statistics. We may also disclose other information that you ask us to disclose.

We may also disclose collected information if we believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with applicable law, and to protect us, the Service, and the Site.

In the event that we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale, bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, or a change of control, there may be a disclosure of your personally identifiable information to another entity related to such event, and we may not control how the information is treated, transferred, or used by that entity.

3. Your Controls and Choices

if applicable, you may request the removal of content you posted to the Site, as described in the “Your California Privacy Rights” section below.
You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information to DigitalVintage, in which case DigitalVintage may not be able to provide certain services to you.

We reserve the right to take reasonable steps (such as requesting your password) to verify your identify before granting you access to the Service or making corrections or deletions. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account information at all times.

If you have questions regarding the information about you that we process or retain, please contact us as described in the “How to Contact Us” section below.

4. Deletion and Correction of Collected Information

At your request, we will delete from our active databases your personally identifiable information collected by us. We may retain such information, however, to the extent required by law or if copies are kept in archival backups.

At your request, we will also use reasonable efforts to correct your personally identifiable information contained in our active databases.

5. Security and Integrity of Collected Information

6. Children’s Personally Identifiable Information

We do not intend to collect personally identifiable information from anyone under age 13 and will not knowingly collect, maintain, or disclose such information. If you are under age 13, or a parent or guardian of someone under the age of 13, do not enter any personally identifiable information about anyone under the age of 13 into the Site or when using the Service. If you are a parent or a guardian who has discovered that your child under age 13 has submitted his or her personally identifiable information to us without your permission or consent, we will make reasonable efforts to remove the information from our database, at your written request. You may arrive at such sites through clicking on an advertisement, as part of a co-branding arrangement, or simply by selecting a link on another website. You should be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of these sites. If you provide any information to such sites, different rules regarding the collection and use of your information and other information may apply. Before using these linked sites, you may wish to review their privacy policies to understand how they treat privacy, security, data collection, disclosure, distribution, and use.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

Residents of the State of California, under the California Civil Code, have the right to request from certain companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed personal information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes and a disclosure of the shared information. To make such a request, contact us as described in the “How to Contact Us” section below.

Please note that some web browsers and devices permit you to broadcast a preference to websites and online services that they “do not track” your online activities. At this time, we do not modify what information we collect or how we use that information based upon whether such a signal is broadcast or received.

If you are a California resident, you are under age 18, and you have registered an account for the Service, you may request the removal of the content you posted to the Site. To request such removal, contact us as described in the “How to Contact Us” section below. Please include with your request your username and a clear statement that you would like us to remove the content you posted to the Site. We may ask, and you will provide us with, additional details in order to remove the content you posted to the Site.

Your request does not ensure the complete or comprehensive removal of the content you posted to the Site. We are not required to remove content you posted to the site if you fail to follow our instructions related to such removal or if:

we are required by law to maintain the content;

a third party stored, posted, republished, or reposted the content; or
we anonymize the content so that you cannot be individually identified by it.
9. Third Party Advertising

We may use third-party advertising service providers to display ads on the Site and in the Service. Those providers may use their own cookies and other technologies to collect information about your interaction with the Site and the Service. In addition, we may share with those providers technical or aggregate information about your interaction with the Site and the Service.

Those providers may use the information they obtain, sometimes in conjunction with similar information gathered through other websites, to deliver ads on the Site and in the Service and on other websites that participate in the providers’ advertising networks. Those ads may be intended to match the perceived interests of consumers. Those providers may also use the information they obtain to measure and research an advertisement’s effectiveness, or for other purposes.

The use and collection of information by third party advertising service providers is governed by such party’s privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy. If you would like more information about the information collection practices of a particular third party advertising service provider, contact that service provider.
